Kindergarten


Should be able to:
  • use simple shapes in art work
  • use a variety of lines in art work
  • use overlapping shapes in an artwork
  • use a variety of drawing materials (e.g. pencil, crayon, marker, oil pastel,and chalk)
  • create a drawing emphasizing one or more elements of art
  • express individual ideas, thoughts, and feelings through drawing
  • begin to use figure to ground relationships vs. floating in space use primary colors
  • use paint to create a background.
